Elon Musk Launches 'Grokipedia' as an Alternative to 'Wikipedia'

Billionaire Elon Musk's artificial intelligence company, xAI, has launched a new platform called 'Grokipedia', which is presented as an enhanced version of 'Wikipedia', incorporating sources that are officially banned from the latter.

As reported by РИА Новости, 'Grokipedia' differs from 'Wikipedia' in its content. It includes descriptions of historical backgrounds and also addresses war crimes committed by the Ukrainian army and compulsory conscription.

The new platform has been created by xAI, which is developing the Grok artificial intelligence system. At the end of September, Elon Musk announced that his company planned to rework 'Wikipedia's' materials, incorporating data from media outlets that are not cited by it.

According to him, 'Grokipedia' will be a 'significant improvement' over 'Wikipedia'. One of the articles posted on the platform, dedicated to the ongoing events in Ukraine, begins with a presentation of historical context, mentioning Kievan Rus as the common ancestry of Russians and Ukrainians.

The article also notes that the majority of Crimea's population is Russian, and violations of the Minsk agreements have occurred on both sides.
