‘Zhoghovurd’. The Special Investigation Service Has Provided Experts with the Computers and Drives of Davit Grigoryan, His Secretary and Assistant

‘Zhoghovurd’ newspaper reports: ‘As is known, the Special Investigation Service has charged judge Davit Grigoryan of the Yerevan General Jurisdiction Court under the first part of Article 314 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia (committing official forgery). It should be noted that judge Davit Grigoryan does not accept the charges against him.

Some details of the criminal case have become known to ‘Zhoghovurd’ newspaper. Specifically, the investigative body of the Special Investigation Service has not chosen a preventive measure against the judge, but according to the information we have received, a technical examination of judicial computer systems has been appointed in the criminal case, and experts have been provided with the computer belonging to the judge, as well as the computers belonging to his assistant and secretary, and the drives seized from the judge's office.

It is worth noting that it is not excluded that in the near future, the secretary and assistant of judge Grigoryan will be summoned for questioning in the criminal case.

Let us recall that the Special Investigation Service conducted a search in the office of first-instance judge Davit Grigoryan on July 17, and the office was sealed. It later became clear that the search was conducted within the framework of a case being investigated by the Special Investigation Service.
