Alexander Kochubaev to Be Released from Detention: Bail Conditions Changed

Defense attorney Erik Aleksanyan has announced that the detention conditions for Alexander Kochubaev have been changed, with a restriction on leaving the country imposed instead. “Alexander Kochubaev will be released from detention shortly and will soon be by his wife’s side. We thank the Republic of Armenia’s Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan for her compassionate approach, as well as the media, family, and friends for their support during this time,” Aleksanyan wrote.

It is noteworthy that earlier, Kochubaev's lawyer had sent an open letter to the Prosecutor General of Armenia, requesting a review of the bail conditions due to Kochubaev's wife’s serious health issues.
