Arman Abovyan: 'Azerbaijani Traffic Police are Already Stopping Armenian Cars and Issuing Fines'
Former MP Arman Abovyan wrote on his Facebook page: 'I have the impression that we are all participating in an endless national disgrace festival. And the most alarming thing is that many of us seem to have accepted the daily attempts of Azerbaijanis to degrade all of us as a nation.
No matter how much the current ultra-peace-loving authorities of Armenia try to act as if they are unknowing and agree to hand over Armenia's sovereign territories to the enemy based on some fabricated justifications, it is still clear that the territories of the Republic of Armenia are now occupied by Azerbaijanis, and they are doing everything possible and impossible to legitimize that occupation.
For example, according to reports appearing in Armenian and Azerbaijani media, Azerbaijani traffic police have already started stopping Armenian cars and issuing fines. Do you understand what this means?
Let me illustrate more clearly: the occupied areas along the Goris-Kapan road cannot in any way be considered territories of Azerbaijan, as the so-called 'people's and pro-state' authorities of the Republic of Armenia have yet to officially legitimize the handover of that section to the Azerbaijani invaders on paper (by the way, I have no doubt that if everything continues like this, our 'steel' authorities will also formally hand that part of Syunik to the enemy).
Azerbaijani traffic police could just as well set up a police post in Yerevan's Mashtots excavation and issue fines to 'proud citizens.' Of course, at first glance, it seems like a very crude and absurd example, but in terms of international law, what is happening in the Goris-Kapan occupied territories is no less absurd than the example I provided.
But don't worry, what matters is that we've been told that the Future is Here... enjoy!
