Former Russian Health Minister Zurabov Sues Pashinyan

The owner of 12.5% of the shares of the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine, former Russian Health and Social Development Minister Mikhail Zurabov, is demanding to invalidate the transaction for the sale of 60% of the Zangezur Combine's shares to Russian billionaire Roman Trotsenko and apply the consequences of invalidity. This was reported by 'Factinfo'.

According to the 'Datalex' system, 'Zangezur Mining' LLC has filed a lawsuit in the Court of General Jurisdiction of Syunik Province against the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine, the industrial company registered in Russia, and the office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia. The application was submitted to the court on October 10 and was assigned to Judge Anahit Tumanyan of the Syunik Provincial Court on the same day.

As we already reported, after acquiring 60% of the shares of the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine, the Russian company 'Geopromining,' represented by billionaire Trotsenko, transferred 15% of the shares to the office of the Prime Minister of Armenia. It is noteworthy that Zurabov had previously received information about the ongoing process of the privatization of the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine and had applied to the court as a 12% shareholder to prioritize his acquisition.

On August 2, a lawsuit was submitted to the court, which was accepted for proceedings by Judge Ruben Nersisyan of the Court of General Jurisdiction in Yerevan, and an injunction on the shares was also imposed. The court's decision dated August 11, 2021, states: 'Zangezur Mining LLC has filed a lawsuit against Amp Holding LLC, Star Dust LLC, Mher Garri's Poloskovi, Karen Albert's Hakobyan, and Gurgen Nareki Ambaryan to prevent violations of the plaintiff's rights, namely obliging defendant Star Dust LLC to transfer 100% share of the statutory capital of Amp Holding LLC to the plaintiff, Zangezur Mining LLC, with preference, and requiring Mher Garri's Poloskovi (6 shares), Karen Albert's Hakobyan (2 shares), and Gurgen Nareki Ambaryan (2 shares) to transfer the shares held by them in Star Dust LLC to the plaintiff.'

The court's decision prohibits the defendants from managing the 100% share of Star Dust LLC in any way, including placing a ban on the share in the State Register of Legal Entities of the RA. It also prohibits Mher Garri's Poloskovi (6 shares), Karen Albert's Hakobyan (2 shares), and Gurgen Nareki Ambaryan (2 shares) from managing the shares belonging to them in Star Dust LLC, including placing a ban on the shares recorded in the securities account opened in the names of the defendants.

This decision is effective from the moment of acceptance and is subject to immediate execution according to the law of the Republic of Armenia on 'Enforcement of Court Decisions.'
