New Revelations About the Mystery of Tupac Shakur's Death

Legendary rapper Tupac Shakur could have prevented the consequences of a fateful night in Manhattan, but a random gunshot changed everything. According to a report by Daily Mail, Jeff Pearlman's new book, 'Only God Can Judge Me: The Many Lives of Tupac Shakur,' reveals new details about the rapper's life and death.

In November 1994, Tupac arrived at New York's Quad Studios to participate in a recording session and earn $7,000. Also present were his friend and rival, Christopher Wallace (Biggie Smalls), and Sean 'Diddy' Combs. At the entrance stood men in military uniforms, which immediately raised Tupac's suspicions.

When the elevator reached the eighth floor, armed individuals demanded that Tupac and his friends lie on the floor. The rapper attempted to reach for his Glock handgun but accidentally shot himself in the groin. Afterward, the assailants shot him two more times and fled with nearly $40,000 worth of jewelry.

Tupac was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where, maintaining his humorous style, he asked doctors, 'Is one testicle enough for me?' However, in subsequent interviews, he never spoke about the accidental shooting, claiming that he had been shot five times.

This incident marked the starting point of the conflict between the West and East Coast rap communities, which years later led to the tragic murders of Tupac and Biggie Smalls.
