Video: A Man from Ijevan Came to Take Pashinyan on Donkey, but He Was Taken Away
A man from Ijevan arrived in Yerevan today on a donkey to take Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan away. He told reporters that according to an old Armenian tradition, traitors are paraded on a donkey in reverse and naked so that everyone recognizes them.
"This is not a performance; it is reality. We have come to take our Ilhamik back home. I am from Ijevan, from the village of Achajur. He considers my fellow villager, Onik Gasparyan, who has made significant contributions, a traitor," he told the press, adding that he is now ashamed to say he is from Ijevan.
However, the citizen's action was cut short. Police officers detained him from Baghramyan Avenue. The donkey named 'Ilhamik' remained standing near the entrance of the National Assembly.
