Dates Set for 2026 Local Self-Government Elections

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has approved the voting dates for the upcoming local self-government (LSG) elections in 2026 during an extraordinary meeting.

According to the CEC, the LSG elections will take place in three phases: on September 27, October 25, and November 29. The commission also emphasized that additional details regarding the organization and monitoring of the electoral process will be announced later within the legally established timelines.
