Nephew of Former Minister of Diaspora Building Hotel Complex and Cottage Neighborhood in Gyulagarak

Hrayr Hakobyan, the nephew of former Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan, is constructing a hotel complex and a cottage neighborhood in Gyulagarak. This was reported by 'Hetq'.

In the area adjacent to the Gargar community along the road leading to the Dendropark in the Lori region, construction activities are underway. Several new structures are already rising in the flatland beside the forested area filled with fir trees, and foundations for additional buildings are being excavated. A sign installed along the road to the Dendropark announces the construction of a cottage neighborhood.

The developer, Hrayr Hakobyan, has purchased a total of 4.3 hectares of agricultural land from various individuals in 2021 and has been engaged in changing its intended use. Last year, he obtained a permit for the construction of the cottage neighborhood.

According to the initial environmental impact assessment application submitted to the Ministry of Environment, the complex will consist of 74 single and two-story private houses and a five-story hotel. Plans include a small football field, a tennis court, a shopping area, and an entertainment center.
