Armenia Begins Transit of Trucks from Turkey to Azerbaijan

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has announced that starting today, the transit of trucks from Turkey to Azerbaijan and vice versa through Armenian territory is possible. The route will pass through the cities of Margara, Yeghegnadzor, Sisian, and Goris.

Pashinyan stated that this move opens new economic opportunities for Armenia and contributes to the development of regional connectivity. He emphasized that the transit freight transportation will be carried out in accordance with international standards, ensuring road safety and customs control.

It is expected that the launch of this route will help activate trade activities and become an important link for regional economic communication.
