Food Issues Discussed: Araik Harutyunyan Issues Instructions
The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, convened a meeting of the Security Council on June 23. The meeting addressed issues and solutions related to food security under the circumstances of the blockade imposed by Azerbaijan on Artsakh.
State Minister Gurgen Nersisyan reported on the measures being taken to overcome the situation created by the suspension of humanitarian cargo deliveries. He presented the programs that have been initiated in recent months, aimed at mitigating predictable risks in the field of food security.
Minister of Agriculture Gevorg Hayriyan discussed planned measures for organizing the harvest and the collection and supply of agricultural products amid fuel shortages. An exchange of ideas took place regarding the presented issues.
President Harutyunyan issued several instructions, emphasizing the importance of the effectiveness and targeting of measures being taken to ensure the livelihood of the population in the current crisis conditions.
