The situation in the Middle East will improve. U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that the situation in the Middle East will get better under his leadership, but if a bad president follows him—one who is not respected—this could easily change.

“As long as I’m here, the situation will only improve and strengthen, and it will be perfect. Good? Everything will be wonderful. What will happen after me? I can’t tell you that. You know, there are bad presidents. If a bad president comes in, this can very easily end… The most important thing is that they respect the President of the United States. The Middle East needs to understand that… If they respect the president, there will be wonderful and lasting peace,” Trump said in an interview with Time magazine.

On October 9, Trump announced that Israel and the Palestinian Hamas movement had agreed on the first phase of a peace plan to resolve the two-year armed conflict in the Gaza Strip.
