Tragic Accident on Vagarshapat-Margara Road Claims Life

On October 22, at 09:14, the Crisis Management Center of the Armavir Regional Rescue Department received information about a traffic accident on the road near the village of Apaga, with a citizen trapped inside. Rescue assistance was necessary.

A firefighting rescue squad from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was revealed that vehicles of Lada and Mazda brands collided at the 10th kilometer of the Vagarshapat-Margara road.

The driver of the Mazda and a passenger of the Lada were hospitalized in medical centers. Rescue teams secured the area, cut off the electricity to the vehicles, closed the valves of the gas cylinders, carried out road washing operations, and retrieved the driver’s body from the Lada, bringing it to a vehicle designated for body transport.
