Peace Exists Not Only in Our Hearts but Also in the Azerbaijani Side: Alen Simonian

During a meeting with the President of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis, Sahiba Gafarova, the topic of Armenian prisoners and detained individuals has been an ongoing discussion, both in private and public forums. This was stated by the President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian, in a press briefing with reporters.

“It was a very warm meeting, and we agreed to discuss and propose specific mechanisms for actions from both sides. We are not talking about the distant future; both of us believe that everything should be done as quickly and extensively as possible,” he noted. “One of the important aspects of that meeting was that I saw that peace exists not only in our hearts and perceptions but also on the Azerbaijani side,” he added.
