During Putin's visit to Baku, Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov stated that Armenia is engaged in sabotage. This was mentioned by Gagik Melkonyan, a member of the ruling 'Civil Contract' party, in a conversation with a NEWS.am correspondent.

It was recalled that on August 19, Lavrov said, 'Unfortunately, regarding communications through Armenia's Syunik Province, it is the Armenian leadership that is sabotaging the agreement signed by Pashinyan.'

Later, on August 31, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that it is not possible to speak about other countries in a language of insult and mockery, especially about a country like Russia.

'As I understood from the press conference, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan meant Lavrov when he said that it is not permissible to blackmail other countries. This signal was also sent to the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Zakharova, that one cannot speak so badly about Armenia,' noted Gagik Melkonyan.
