Armenia Could Become a Transit Country, Bayramov Says

We are already seeing the positive results of the agreements reached at the summit held in Washington on August 8, Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov stated during a joint press conference with Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna.

"The implementation of this initiative will bring economic benefits to all countries in the region, and Armenia could become a transit country," the Azerbaijani foreign minister noted.

He mentioned that among the positive developments, it is noteworthy that Azerbaijan has decided to allow the transit of cargo through its territory to Armenia, particularly the transportation of grain from Kazakhstan.

We know that negotiations continue regarding the implementation of the TRIPP project between the US and Armenia.
