Slovak Court Sentences Shooter of Fico to 21 Years in Prison
A Slovak court has sentenced the shooter of Robert Fico to 21 years in prison. Last May, an assassination attempt was made against the Slovak Prime Minister.
The shooter is 71-year-old writer and supporter of the opposition "Progressive Slovakia" party, Juraj Cintulan. After his arrest, he admitted that he opposed the government's actions aimed at restricting media freedom.
