Ukrainian Embassies and Consulates Receive Packages Containing Animal Eyes

Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Nikolenko stated on his Facebook page that several days after the explosion at the Ukrainian embassy in Madrid, Ukrainian embassies and consulates in six countries received packages stained with blood, containing animal eyes. “Ukrainian embassies and consulates continue to receive threats. Following the terrorist incident in Spain, our embassies in Hungary, the Netherlands, Poland, Croatia, and Italy, as well as the consulates in Naples and Krakow, and the consulate in Brno, received bloody packages. The packages contained animal eyes and were soaked in a liquid with a characteristic color and corresponding odor,” said the spokesperson of Ukraine's Foreign Ministry.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba also commented on the incidents, stating, “We have reasons to believe that a well-planned campaign of terror and intimidation is taking place against Ukrainian embassies and consulates. Unable to stop Ukraine on the diplomatic front, they are trying to scare us. However, I can say that these attempts are in vain. We will continue to work effectively for Ukraine's victory.”
