Narek Ohanyan's Lawyer Issues Statement

Dear journalists, please do not ask how I can comment on the forensic genetic examination conclusion in the case of Mrdzavan, according to which Narek Ohanyan's DNA characteristics are absent from the material evidence. This was stated by lawyer Vahan Hovhannisyan on his Facebook page.

He particularly noted: “Unfortunately, I cannot, as the agency conducting the proceedings has not deemed it necessary to inform the defense about the received conclusions. Being involved as a defense attorney, I only learned from the press that another piece of evidence has been received proving Narek Ohanyan's innocence.”
