Kobakhidze Makes Statement After Meeting with Pashinyan
Prior to the upcoming 5th "Silk Road" conference in Tbilisi, I had productive negotiations with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. This was stated by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on his microblog on X.
“We discussed important bilateral and regional issues. I am confident that this meeting will strengthen cooperation between Georgia and Armenia,” he noted.
Earlier, the Prime Minister's office reported that the interlocutors discussed matters related to the agenda of the strategic partnership between Armenia and Georgia. Both sides emphasized the fact of active political dialogue between the two friendly countries and expressed confidence that it would continue effectively.
Prime Ministers Pashinyan and Kobakhidze exchanged views on cooperation in trade, economic, and cultural sectors. The establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan was also addressed. Irakli Kobakhidze congratulated on this occasion once again, expressing belief that it would give a new impetus to regional cooperation and stability.
Prime Minister Pashinyan provided details on the implementation of the TRIPP and "Peace Intersection" projects aimed at unblocking regional communication routes. In honor of Prime Minister Pashinyan, an official dinner was held on behalf of Irakli Kobakhidze.
