The White House is concerned that Netanyahu may attempt to block a deal involving Hamas supported by the United States. Washington insists that the roles of Turkey and Qatar will be purely humanitarian and civil.

However, Jerusalem fears that their involvement will give unwanted influence to Ankara and Doha.
