Nearly 16,000 Drones Set Guinness World Record in China During Light Show

A Guinness World Record for the most unmanned aerial vehicles was set during a light show in the city of Luoyang, China, where 15,947 drones took to the sky. One of the organizers, Michael Lin, announced this on his X social media page. He also shared a video showing the illuminated drones creating images of flowers, the Earth, and a giant tree in the sky, with leaves falling in the form of fireworks explosions.

However, the achievement by Chinese engineers has not yet been officially recognized by the Guinness World Records.

It is worth recalling that the large-scale drone show in Luoyang resulted in a fire incident, as flaming drones carrying fireworks fell before the eyes of the audience.
