The Louvre Museum in France has been subjected to a robbery. This was announced by France's Minister of Culture, Rachida Dati. 'This morning, during the opening of the Louvre Museum, a robbery took place. The museum is currently closed to visitors. Law enforcement officials are on site,' wrote the minister.
According to 'Le Parisien,' masked criminals entered the museum from the Seine River, ascended by freight elevator, broke windows, and entered the room containing the collection. Armed individuals, according to preliminary information, stole jewelry from the collection of Napoleon and Empress Josephine, including a necklace, a brooch, and a crown.
