AN-22 Aircraft Crashes in Russia
An AN-22 aircraft has crashed in the Ivanovo region of Russia, involving seven people at the time of the incident. TASS reports this, citing emergency services. REN-TV has also reported the crash.
According to TASS, the accident occurred near the Uvodskoye reservoir, with aircraft debris found floating in the water. Officials have informed the agency that the plane was conducting a planned test flight after undergoing repairs.
RBC has reached out to the Transport Investigative Committee's Western Interregional Investigation Directorate, the press service of the Moscow Interregional Transport Prosecutor's Office, the Main Directorate of the Emergency Situations Ministry in Ivanovo region, and has submitted inquiries to the Ministry of Defense for comments.
