I Cannot Put the US at Risk: Trump

We cannot provide all of our weapons to Ukraine. I have a great respect for Zelensky and Ukraine, but I cannot put the US at risk. This was stated by US President Donald Trump.

At the same time, the American leader noted that there is significant trade potential between Russia and the US that could help resolve the conflict in Ukraine. “We are at war right now, but there is amazing potential for trade, and I hope we will succeed,” he said.

Earlier, US Vice President Pence told Fox News that the Trump administration is discussing the possible supply of Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine. Trump himself later stated that he had “partially made a decision” to transfer those long-range missiles but wants to know what the Ukrainian Armed Forces will specifically use them for.

It should be noted that Zelensky has requested Tomahawk missiles from the US, but Trump has yet to make a final decision regarding their supply to Ukraine. According to the US leader, the supply of missiles would clarify Russian-American relations.
