Hamas Denies U.S. Claims of Planning Ceasefire Violation

The United States has informed the guarantor countries of the peace agreement in Gaza about allegations that Hamas is planning to violate the ceasefire. This information was stated in a message released by the U.S. State Department, which claims to have received credible reports indicating that Hamas is preparing for an inevitable breach of the ceasefire that would be directed against the people of Gaza.

“This planned attack against Palestinian civilians would constitute a direct and gross violation of the ceasefire agreement and would undermine the significant progress achieved through mediation efforts. The guarantors are demanding that Hamas fulfill its obligations under the terms of the ceasefire,” the statement read.

The U.S. State Department emphasized that measures would be taken to protect the people of Gaza and to ensure that the ceasefire is fully maintained in the event of an attack by Hamas.

In response, Hamas has denied the U.S. State Department's statement, asserting that the U.S. accusations are false and align with Israeli propaganda.
