We Have Suffered Huge Losses, Says Vladimir Zelensky

Vladimir Zelensky has described the losses of Ukraine's Armed Forces as enormous. He spoke about this in an interview with the Associated Press.

"We have also suffered huge losses," he said during the interview, parts of which were published on the Ukrainian leader’s Telegram channel. The full version of the interview was also posted on Zelensky’s office YouTube channel, in which he reminded that the number of the Ukrainian Armed Forces stands at 800,000.

On January 15, Zelensky announced that the number of the Ukrainian army remains at 880,000 and that no reductions are planned. Previously, Zelensky has repeatedly refused negotiations with Russia, stating that Ukraine must participate from a position of strength.

As noted by Alexander Dubinsky, a member of the Supreme Rada who acts as an opposition figure, Zelensky should be sentenced to life imprisonment for acting against the state and citizens' interests by rejecting peace agreements, which has led to mass casualties.

On December 16 of the previous year, the head of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Andrei Belousov, noted that the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces during the entire special operation have amounted to about 1 million people.
