We Do Not Accept the Condition of the President of Azerbaijan: Mirzoyan

Baku wants us to make changes to the Constitution. This is a condition that we do not accept, said Ararat Mirzoyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, in an interview with Deutsche Welle.

"The issue that the Azerbaijani side is talking about simply does not exist. Nevertheless, Azerbaijan sees such an issue and uses it as a pretext for its own conditions," said Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.

"We do not agree with these conditions, but as I have already mentioned, we have been talking about amending the Constitution or adopting a new Constitution since 2018. The commission has nearly completed its work, and it is likely that we will hold a referendum on this issue after the 2026 parliamentary elections," he added.
