This Government Has No Red Lines. Keep Your Hands Off Our Church, Says Aleksanyan
Today, people gathered here who do not reconcile with the ongoing injustices. We all stand together now for our political prisoners and draw red lines. This was stated today by Aleksan Aleksanyan, a member of the coordinating council of the "Our Way" movement during their rally.
"This government has no red lines, and those lines are defined by the Armenian people through their resistance. We now demand that you keep your hands off our church. We demand freedom for our sacred ones, for our political prisoners, and for the national benefactor Samvel Karapetyan," said Aleksanyan in his speech.
He added: "Nikol Pashinyan and his government do not control the situation. The people hate them; they hate them for awakening hope in the people and then failing to deliver. They hate them for conceding even a single piece of land and handing over Artsakh. They hate them for turning the people into 'material' for fines, and today, for going against all of our sacred beliefs."
"The campaign against the Patriarch and the church is no longer a theoretical forecast; the guilty order may come at any moment, and we must be prepared to stand by our church at all times. The church is not just stone and walls; the church is the spirit of our nation, and anyone who goes against the church is going against their own nation," declared Aleksan Aleksanyan.
