Europe Must Support Us, Otherwise It Will Be Next: Merz
The Chancellor of Germany, Friedrich Merz, stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's visit to the United States was more challenging than expected and did not yield the results he had hoped for.
According to the German Chancellor, this clearly demonstrates that Ukraine now particularly needs support from Europe—military, financial, and political. He added, “Europe must support us, or it will be next.”
“The visit did not go as Zelensky had hoped,” said Merz, emphasizing that the war could halt the Ukrainian army's strength, and that there is no question of capitulation, as this would mean that Russia would proceed against the current.
Earlier, Merz had stated that Zelensky did not achieve his objectives and that there is no option for Ukraine's capitulation.
