We Have Connections with Some European Leaders, Lavrov

Russia maintains non-public connections with several European leaders. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in an interview with RT.

“I will not hide the fact that we have connections with some European leaders. They call us and ask not to make their conversations public. Some of them even show up here,” Lavrov said.

According to him, the statements made by European leaders during such closed and secretive communications do not significantly differ from their public positions. “The same old calls: let’s put an end to the Russian-Ukrainian war, something needs to be done,” noted the Russian Foreign Minister.
