A Private Conversation Scheduled Between Nikol Pashinyan and the Pope
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is heading to the Vatican. This information was shared by his spokesperson Nazeli Baghdasaryan.
“Pashinyan will be in the Holy See for a working visit from October 18-20,” she wrote on her Facebook page.
On October 19, the Prime Minister will attend a ceremony for the canonization of Archbishop Ignatius Maloyan and six other beatified individuals in St. Peter's Square, which will be presided over by Pope Leo XIV.
During his visit, a private conversation between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and His Holiness Pope Leo XIV is also scheduled.
Additionally, the Prime Minister will meet with the Secretary of State of the Holy See, Pietro Parolin.
