Vicar of Aragatsotn Diocese Father Garegin Arsenyan Detained

Father Garegin Arsenyan, the vicar of the Aragatsotn Diocese, has been detained for one month. This information was confirmed to Sputnik Armenia by lawyer Ara Zohrabyan.

It is noteworthy that early in the morning on October 15, law enforcement conducted a search at the residence of the diocese's leader, Bishop Mkrtich Proshyan, and subsequently detained him. Along with the bishop, 12 priests from the Aragatsotn Diocese and staff members from the diocesan administration were also detained.
