Vahagn Tevosyan: Armen Yeghiazaryan Did a Great Job but With a Wrong Conclusion
Member of the "My Step" faction Vahagn Tevosyan addressed the post of "Bright Armenia" faction member Armen Yeghiazaryan, stating on his Facebook page:
“My colleague from the LH faction, Armen Yeghiazaryan, has done a wonderful job, but with a wrong conclusion. He proved that triangulation has significant errors; therefore, it is impossible to determine if persons X and Y have been in contact based only on their location if that location is the same for both (imagine different floors of an apartment building or different sidewalks of a wide street).
Dear friends, the purpose of fixing phone calls is precisely that; if persons X and Y are located in the same place, but at the same time are usually in contact (making calls and sending texts), there is a high probability that they have communicated (not that they were on different floors, but in the same apartment), having had close contact (not that they were walking on different sidewalks of a wide street, but side by side).
I thank my colleague for their assistance and hope my help will also be useful to him.”
It is worth reminding that Armen Yeghiazaryan wrote that it is clear from the responses of companies that it is impossible to carry out precise localization or that exact location cannot be specified due to an error range of 20 to 100 meters.
