Hungary Opposes Seizure of Russian Assets, Orbán Says

Hungary opposes the seizure of Russian assets. This was announced by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.

Budapest will not support the EU's seizure of frozen Russian assets due to potential retaliatory measures from Russia, Orbán stated in an interview with "Mandiner."

“Hungarian companies would face retaliatory measures in Russia, and since Hungary also supports the use of seized Russian assets in Europe, I certainly will not support it, as it would mean losses for Hungary,” Orbán said.
