Direct: Boycott? Marukyan Discusses Recall of Khajakyans from Council

“Enlightened Armenia” party has one representative in the Council’s “Light” group, and if the ruling council decides, this representative, Davit Khajakyan, must leave the council: said Edmon Marukyan, the head of the “Enlightened Armenia” faction, during a recent conversation with reporters.

“We are receiving thousands of letters. We want to tell citizens that we are listening to you, your voices are reaching us, and we are taking corresponding actions. Following yesterday's speeches in the council, we had to respond somehow to those writing and asking us. This is that response,” said Marukyan.
