Russia Will Not Form Alliances Against Anyone, Especially Not Against China

Russia will not form alliances against anyone, especially not against China, stated Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. The minister responded to a question regarding the likelihood of Russia and the United States uniting against China during trilateral consultations on strategic stability between Russia, the USA, and China, a notion long pushed by Washington.

"We have a solid legal framework with China that clearly indicates our relations are focused on supporting each other, helping one another to strengthen our economies, defensive capabilities, and positions on the international stage," Lavrov added.
