This Government Has a Strange Characteristic: Robert Kocharyan
In our country, 25-30% of the population is engaged in agriculture, and in such a country, not having a Ministry of Agriculture and cutting it down, calling it optimization, is simply ridiculous.
This was stated by the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, during a meeting with his supporters.
“A great blow has been dealt to agriculture. The Ministry needs to be re-established because there is actually no body today that formulates policy in this sector. This is not normal; it’s an abnormal phenomenon. Also, how could the Ministry of Culture be cut? Our intellectuals have been sounding the alarm. For me, this government has a strange characteristic: not listening to specialists. It’s as if specialists are enemies. I don’t know where this comes from, from complexes that they are not specialists in anything, or what, but this is a complex that has destroyed sectors. The result is what we have,” Kocharyan said, adding that agriculture will be one of the driving forces of our country's development.
