Russia Transfers Declassified Documents on Kennedy Assassination to the U.S.

Russia has transferred declassified documents regarding the assassination of John F. Kennedy to the United States. In Washington, Russian Ambassador Alexander Darchiev handed over a 350-page report from Soviet archives, dedicated to the events of 1963, to Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna.

Moscow expressed hope that the documents would help shed new light on the tragedy. According to Luna, this move represents an unprecedented example of historical cooperation between the two countries in the investigation of one of the 20th century's most notorious assassinations.
