There Were People from HETC Security Here: They Came to Inventory Who Has Arrived and Who Has Not, Ghazinyan
The atmosphere of fear in Armenia has reached a very high level. This was stated by David Ghazinyan, the former director of the HETC, during a conversation with reporters. He arrived to support businessman Samvel Karapetyan at the Anti-Corruption Court.
"There were people from HETC security here; they came to inventory who has arrived. It is our former employee who has come here to inventory who has come and who has not. They have become a bit smarter; earlier, they used to hold meetings with 5-6 people and we would receive information. Now they call separately, saying that if you go out, you will have problems," said Ghazinyan.
It should be noted that the Anti-Corruption Court is currently considering the issue of extending the arrest of businessman Samvel Karapetyan. Thousands of citizens have gathered near the court building in support of Samvel Karapetyan.
On June 17, a search was conducted at Samvel Karapetyan's residence while he publicly supported the Armenian Apostolic Church, criticizing the actions of what he called "a small group" that was, in his opinion, attacking the Armenian Church and the people.
