Court Accepts Jurisdiction Over Amulsar Case: Armenian Side Represented by Karen Andreasian and Associates

The International Arbitration Court has accepted jurisdiction over the Amulsar case. This was reported by the newspaper 'Hraparak'.

“In 2023, a lawsuit was filed by Amulsar Investor Ventures LLC against the Republic of Armenia. The plaintiffs are American investors who have now united and filed a joint claim through a legal company. The basis for accepting the case for consideration was the agreement on the mutual protection and encouragement of investments between Armenia and the United States. The arbitration tribunal is presided over by Janet Walker. On the Armenian side, the responding party will be represented by Karen Andreasian, the Republic of Armenia's representative in international legal arenas, his deputy Artem Sujyan, and representatives of the same office Meruzhan Haykyants and Anna Shahnazaryan,” the newspaper reports.
