Which MPs Have Been Feverish and Self-Isolated
According to Armlur.am, many members of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport have been experiencing fever and have self-isolated in recent days. Our information indicates that the committee's chairman, Mkhetar Hayrapetyan, has been running a fever for several days, but he has not taken a test.
We have also learned that MP Sofia Hovsepyan, a member of the same committee from the 'My Step' faction, has also developed a fever. The media attempted to clarify whether she had taken a test and how she felt. The MP stated: “I had a fever for only one day, in the evening, but a few hours later I no longer had a fever. I had a temperature of 37.2, but after that, I haven't had it. However, I have not had it for the second day, I haven't taken a test because I think it could be a consequence of a cold, or I don't know, I can't say. Right now, I feel okay,” she mentioned.
Another member of the committee, MP Vahagn Tevosyan, has also experienced a fever and has taken a test. We just spoke with the MP, who confirmed that he has received the result: “The result is negative; I had a fever, was anxious, I took the test, and fortunately, the test came back negative,” the MP concluded.
Additionally, the chairman of the same committee, Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, has also experienced fever and, according to our information, is preparing to take a coronavirus test.
It is also worth noting that another MP from the same committee, Iveta Tonoyan from the Prosperous Armenia faction, has taken a test, and it has come back positive.
We also have information that outside the parliament, ARF member Artavazd Minasyan has taken a test, which has also returned positive; however, Minasyan has not been responding to our phone calls for two days while attempting to reach him.
