Armenian Ministry of Defense Denies Azerbaijani Statement

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense's statement alleging that Armenian Armed Forces opened fire in the southeastern border area during the period from 22:00 to 22:10 on January 5 does not correspond to reality, according to the Armenian Ministry of Defense.

It is worth recalling that the Armenian Prime Minister's Office had proposed the establishment of a joint mechanism for investigating incidents of ceasefire violations and/or information regarding such incidents; however, Azerbaijan has yet to respond to this proposal.
