Biden Praises Donald Trump's Efforts

Former US President Joe Biden has praised Donald Trump’s efforts to achieve peace in the Gaza Strip. He expressed this on the social media platform X.

“I am deeply grateful and relieved that this day has come for the last 20 surviving hostages who have gone through unimaginable hell and finally reunited with their families and loved ones, and for the peaceful residents of Gaza, who have suffered unspeakable losses and will finally have the chance to rebuild their lives,” the former President wrote.

Biden noted that his administration has also worked toward ceasing the war in Gaza, a goal that was ultimately achieved by Trump’s team: “The path to this agreement was not easy. My administration worked tirelessly to bring the hostages home, provide assistance to Palestinian civilians, and end the war. I greatly appreciate President Trump and his team for their work in finalizing the renewed ceasefire agreement.”

It is important to note that in Sharm El Sheikh, Trump signed a document regarding the ceasefire in Gaza with the leaders of Egypt, Turkey, and Qatar.
