New Measures Will Be Taken Against Russia: Moscow's Economy is Already Weak and We Will Further Weaken It, Kallas
The European Union will soon undertake new measures aimed at Russia's energy, financial, and trade revenues. This was announced by the EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, during a joint press conference with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sibiga in Kyiv.
“Russia's wartime economy is already weakened, and we will further weaken it. Inflation has exceeded 20%, foreign currency reserves are dwindling, and economic growth is near zero,” Kaja Kallas stated.
According to her, the European Union has allocated €800 million to assist Ukraine this winter. It is also worth noting that the EU plans to allocate an additional €100 million to Ukraine for generators, equipment, and protection against the elements.
