Zelensky Has Another Phone Call with Trump

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has had a phone conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump. Zelensky shared this information on his Telegram channel, describing the discussion as a "very productive conversation."

“Yesterday we reached an agreement on a specific topic scheduled for today and addressed all aspects of the situation. The protection of lives in our country, the strengthening of our air defense, our resilience, and our reach,” the Ukrainian president shared.

Zelensky also noted that many details regarding “energy” were discussed. He added that Trump is "well aware of everything that is happening."

This is the second phone call between Zelensky and Trump within two days. The previous conversation took place the day before. The Ukrainian leader wrote on Telegram that he informed Trump about the attacks on Ukraine's energy sector and mentioned the U.S. willingness to help strengthen Ukraine's air defense.
