US Invites Armenia to Participate in Gaza Summit
The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer, and the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, will arrive in Sharm El Sheikh on October 13 to participate in the signing ceremony of an agreement to cease hostilities in Gaza, announced the Prime Minister's office and the Élysée Palace.
The summit will be co-chaired by the Presidents of Egypt and the United States, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and Donald Trump, with several leaders from European and Middle Eastern countries also confirming their attendance. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres will also participate.
An Axios reporter has disclosed that the US has invited Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Iran to the peace summit in Egypt. There is currently no official information regarding Armenia's participation.
Earlier, it was reported that the US President would address the Knesset tomorrow and also attend the ceremony for the signing of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza at Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt. This follows the working schedule of the US leader that was published by the White House press service.
The President of Turkey will also be in Egypt tomorrow to participate in an international summit focused on the situation in Gaza.
