The key to signing a peace treaty is not the place but the substance. The substance of the Granada agreement, in my impression, serves the interests of Armenia; it reaffirmed Armenia's territorial integrity, the maps that will outline the borders between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and the unblocking of roads with Armenia's sovereignty.

Gevorg Papoyan, a member of the National Assembly's “Civil Contract” faction, expressed this opinion in an interview with 24News.

“We do not know what the Moscow content regarding the peace treaty is; if it is the same as that of Granada, then there is no problem. In Granada, the leaders of European countries confirmed that they recognize Armenia's territory of 29,800 square kilometers. If something is given away, we must also be able to receive, including Artsvashen in Azerbaijan. If Russia also accepts that Armenia has 29,800 square kilometers according to the maps, then they support that agenda,” the MP added.
