Russia Intensifies Attacks, Says Zelensky
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has stated that Russia has intensified its attacks, taking advantage of the international community's focus on events occurring in the Middle East. He shared this information on his Telegram channel.
“Moscow is ramping up its assaults and is openly utilizing the world's focus on ensuring peace in the Middle East,” Zelensky noted.
According to the Ukrainian leader, over the past week, more than 3,100 drones, 92 missiles, and nearly 1,360 guided aerial bombs (GAB) have been used against Ukraine.
Zelensky emphasized that Russian strikes have also targeted energy infrastructure, with emergency services dealing with the aftermath. “Russia continues its aerial terror against our cities and communities. Every day, Russians are killing our people. Just yesterday, a child was killed by a bomb in a church in Konstantinovka,” he highlighted.
