1100 Tons of Water Used in Nubarashen Landfill Firefighting: Details on the Ongoing Efforts

As of October 12 at 10:00 AM, the emergency services continue their firefighting efforts at the Nubarashen landfill, utilizing 1100 tons of water and conducting 500 soil dumps to prevent the spread of the fire, according to reports from the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Nine firefighting teams and two operational groups have been deployed, totaling 43 emergency workers. The Yerevan Municipality has also contributed to the response with water transport vehicles and engineering equipment.

There are still smoldering hotspots from the fire. Firefighting operations are ongoing intensively.
